10+ Years Serving Melbourne
Matteo and Micheal, two Italian friends and now business partners, started their hospitality journey at an early age in Trieste (Italy).
Landing in Australia about 10 years ago, they embraced their passion for food and perfected their craft before deciding to open their first restaurant with the mission of bringing their love of Italian food and sharing it with the Melbourne public.

Certainly! Journey in the restaurant industry began over two decades ago, and it's been a dynamic and fulfilling experience. I started as a server in a family-owned restaurant during my college years, where I learned the basics of customer service and the inner workings of a bustling kitchen.
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to take on various roles, from managing front-of-house operations to overseeing kitchen staff and eventually moving into leadership positions. Each step provided me with valuable insights into different aspects of running a successful restaurant.
One of the highlights of my career was when I had the chance to open my own restaurant. It was a culmination of years of hard work and dedication, and it taught me invaluable lessons about entrepreneurship, financial management, and creating a unique dining experience.
Throughout my journey, I've been passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. I've also stayed current with industry trends and innovations, which has been crucial in adapting to changes and staying competitive.
Overall, my 25 years in the restaurant industry have been incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to this dynamic and vibrant field.
During my 25 years in the restaurant industry, I've had the opportunity to hold various roles that have shaped my career and provided me with diverse experiences. Here are some of the key roles I've held:
Server: I started as a server, learning the basics of customer interaction, menu knowledge, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Bartender: I transitioned to bartending, where I honed my mixology skills, learned about beverage service, and developed relationships with regular customers.
Assistant Manager: Moving into management, I served as an assistant manager, where I gained experience in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring quality service delivery.
Restaurant Manager: As a restaurant manager, I took on greater responsibilities such as financial management, inventory control, and implementing marketing strategies to drive business growth.
Executive Chef: I also had the opportunity to work as an executive chef, where I led kitchen operations, developed menus, maintained food quality standards, and trained culinary staff.
Owner: One of the highlights of my career was owning my own restaurant. This experience allowed me to apply my accumulated knowledge and skills in a leadership capacity, making strategic decisions and creating a unique dining experience for our guests.
